I’m always making lists of one sort or the other. I’m a planner so lists keep my thoughts organized, allow me to keep track of how many goals I’ve accomplished and remind me of my dreams and aspirations. My lists range from simple things like what chores I need to take care of that weekend (which sometimes by Sunday night stares back at me without a single tick) to as fun and exciting as my travel goals and life’s aspirations.

I have a long ever-growing mental list of places to visit in Jamaica, ever since I came to the realization in 2016 that I barely know my island at all. In 2017 I was perhaps a tad bit too ambitious, setting out to see 17 places in ’17 and only accomplishing 8 of them. That being said, I saw a whole lot more than 8 places that year, 25 to be exact. This shows that life is fluid. While I create these lists for fun and to motivate you all (and myself) to go out & see interesting corners of Jamaica, I have and will likely veer far from it every year, all in good fun.

With 2017’s bucket list being my third most viewed post this year, I thought it fitting to conclude the 2017 roundup series with a similar list. Last year, I bit off more than I could chew with a 17 in ’17 so certainly there’ll be no 18 in ’18 for 2018. This is the year I become a final year medical student too so 2018 I need to resume putting out my A-game. It’s a good thing all my adventures were already day-trips because I’m gonna be worse pressed for time this year. I will be M.I.A. a lot and it hurts me as much as it’ll hurt you (lol will it?) to neglect Adventures from Elle again. Rest assured I will post every chance I get to experience something blog-worthy because the travel bug has become an omnipresent feature in my life and I LOVE IT.

17 in ’17. Make some bucket list goals which are pocket-friendly and doable. It is useless to have a long list of places entirely out of current reach. I have Marrakech and Madrid goals too but for now, here are 17 places in Jamaica to which I’ve never been and will try to visit for 2017. Some of them I’m ashamed to have never visited 🙈🙈🙈. I mean, I’ve lived here all my life.
