73 Vogue-Inspired Questions Answered

Happy June! We’re almost at the halfway mark of 2019! The 73 Questions Vogue series is a popular YouTube series by the Vogue team that interviews our favourite celebrities, models and influencers with 73 random questions that help us get to know a bit more about them. I was tagged in this series by Ornella from As Told By Nella in April, really enjoyed learning more about her through these 73 questions and thought this was something my own readers might enjoy.

1. What are you most excited about these days?

Graduating with my M.B.,B.S. degree! It has been a long and challenging five years, a chapter of my life I’m excited to close. I’m looking forward to the 3-week summer break (my first summer holiday in 2 years) too and I’m somewhat excited about joining the workforce in July.

2. What’s your favorite holiday? Christmas!

3. Favorite season? Jamaica only has wet and dry seasons, but if I had to choose a temperate season, I’d choose spring.

4. Where does one go on a perfect road trip? To the lovely parishes of St. Ann, Portland or the majestic Blue Mountains.

5. What is the best activity when home on a rainy day? Cuddle! If alone, read, write or watch YouTube.

6. If you could switch lives with someone for a day who would it be? Switching lives with anyone sounds unappealing but perhaps Taraji P. Henson. She exudes such confidence and fierceness.

To graduate on time and to maintain the healthy lifestyle changes I’d made in 2018. Unfortunately, the stress of school has derailed the latter since March but this month I plan to put my life back in order with a lot of hiking, my 3rd 5K and resuming YouTube workout videos.

9. What’s your favorite exercise? I love to hike so much it doesn’t feel like exercise.

10. Best way to decompress? Journalling.

11. What’s your favorite country to visit? Honestly don’t have one yet–I’ve only left Jamaica twice and I was a child so my memories are vague.

12. Last country you visited? Curacao.

13. Country you wish to visit? Canada because I have a lot of family there, some of whom I haven’t seen in 4+ years and I would also LOVE to see the Niagara Falls (kill 2 birds with 1 stone).

14. What’s your favorite ice-cream? Devon House I-Scream, their Christmas flavours are the best (sorrel and eggnog).

    1. Hahahaha. Catch babies? Not I. Babies are traps.. trap you with all the cuteness then take all your sleep, money and freedom. In a minimum of 5 years though, maaaaybe you can expect a cute god-child. I say maybe because I feel being 12 years older than my brother (on my mom’s side) scarred me with too much early parenting experience (ie. Babysitting through all my high school summers) that I want a lovely selfish break from any sort of care-giving.

    1. Yes we do!! Was thinking that to myself too as I filled out the questions. πŸ’• And lol you’re so right! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Not sure why DC comics became synonymous with all the superheroes I know. I’m almost as bad as the people who keep thinking Port Royal is fictional. πŸ™ˆ
